Frankensteins poem

This is a poem (I use that term loosely...) I made at a poetry writing -meetup. 
It is made from different sentences and quotes from different books. Some are from Sherlock Holmes storys, some from the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy and some from sorrows of satan. 
Its like a Frankensteins monster made of words. Or something...  

Here the poem is more clearly written: 

There was a girl sitting on her own in a small café
The strange thing is, this is not her story.
It is the story of a joke, a dark-eyed breakfast table, a clock
And a whimsical dream
Nothing of much importance,
My brain was in a whirl, - my thoughts were all dim
It is such an absurd world, you know
It seemed as if I had left my days of wonderful good luck
A long way behind me.
“You speak a trifle bitterly,” said Sherlock Holmes
“Why, yes,” I said.
